Low pressure casting is a method where molten metal fills the cavity under the low pressure which forms the cast. The advantages are very high strength and the ability to form complex geometries, whilst maximizing material usage.

Low pressure aluminium casting is mainly used for products with more than 5 mm thick walls and a high air tightness, which can be heat treated by T4/T5/T6.
